I need to know the estimation of the global market size of surgical
face masks - if end-user prices. It will be great to get also some
indication about trends in this market segment and forecast to future
years.
It seems that you've answered your own question, no? If so, you should

Dear Crythias,
Thanks again for your comment. I indeed in the search for the most
cost effective method to get market research information. If the
google thing fails, than I will seek the pro's assistance, for much
greather $$$.
Thanks,
FR.
Just a hint: This isn't a $5 question. It requires significant
research to provide an answer, and the answer given won't necessarily
be accurate. Close, maybe, but not necessarily "Answer" worthy.
Since surgical masks are used at nearly every hospital and clinic and
dental office known to man, I'd say the global market is rather huge.
Trends? More people means more people get sick... more doctors
needed... more masks needed.
And another SARS-like incident may increase civilian population usage.
Then you have hobbyists who use surgical masks to keep from inhaling
paints or sand.

Dear Crythias,
Thank you for your comment.
I have added some $$$ to the question. I have few other questions in
that direction, so if someone has access to one of the market research
done on this matter, he could make some easy $$$.
In any event, I know where to find the answer to this question. There
are market research companies which sell this data for $16 a page. The
info I am looking for is about $32. Hence, to make it worth while for
me, I will not exceed ~$10 for the question.
see www.freedonia.com or www.the-infoshop.com for more details.
Thanks again,
FR.
I know there is no way to say this without being criticized as
insensitive, but I think recent events (tsunami) unfortunately just
increased market size.
I could use some help again...
