It's from "Young Guns II", but I think that's what you want.
Edit: The soundtrack of the first movie (1988) was never released, so there was certainly no "theme song" as such that was played on the radio or anything. Sorry. One note of trivia: The original movie "Young Guns" itself was inspired by Bon Jovi's earlier song "Wanted, Dead or Alive" (1987) which has a modern "rock star" take on the wild west metaphor. This is why he was asked to contribute to the second film.
