I'm looking for an online resource that depicts logos suitable for an
in-the-home charm/etiquette school for female tots and pre-teens.
Prefer logos that are free and modifiable.
I suggest clipart . com for what you've requested, but I can't endorse
the use of common clip art as a logo. It's your identity... think
BMW, Coca Cola, Mercedes, Cingular, Boston Red Sox, Town & Country,
Rolex, Chanel... the logos are timeless and associated with the
company. There are a number of logo sites out there that charge $99
(99dollarlogos . com) to $150+ (logobee . com also advertises in
Fortune magazine). I suggest you start there. It should be worth it.
If you are willing to spend a tad more... logoworks is absolutely
fantastic. (No, I don't work there.) Good luck.
There's a gorgeous butterfly one there that would suit your charm
school theme - i.e. terrible tots turning into lovely ladies. ;)

You could try someone like this:
http://www.coolhomepages.com/store/NonExclusiveLogo.htm
The logos are $40, but they look like they've been designed by a
professional. You can modify them as well.
Yes, I'd seen those fee-based sites and was trying to devise a way to
design my own logo from scratch without having to resort to a
professional designer. That that, I know that clip art usually falls
far short of conveying the right look.
I could use some help again...
