i formatted my pc.its speed was good .then i installed some software'ss in it .its speed has now reduced a lot .its taking more time to start up now .i also have nortonanti viruss installed in my pc but windows is not detecting it.can anyone please help me.

A chart open in last option in this chart u c startup option click & dissable some object & restart ur startup will fast but if it not working then only this advice that upgrade ur pc ram & change ur antivirus

Do you remember what software you installed that slowed it down a lot? if you uninstall that does it speed back up? if so, that's the culprit and i would find an alternative to it. Norton Antivirus is a resource hog, so it could be that. Try AVG Free if you want, it's free antivirus and not as bad.
I take it you are running on windows ?
Go into control Panel, Administrative tools, computer management then select Disk Defragmenter and click on defragment then walk away for an hour or however long it takes and let it do what it needs to, but come back to check that you don't have to click to confirm something every so often. When it has finished it should have speeded up your computer. If not then you have a problem like a Virus or too little memory
