I dont know if anybody has ever used Metaboli Player, but I cant get it to work with Outpost at all, no matter what I do. I am (was) running the latest version of Outpost. I am currently using Comodo to test, and it cooperates fine with that.
The strange thing is that it wouldnt work even with Outpost installed but deactivated. This lead me to believe that it was a router issue, but as I say it works fine with Comodo.
I know there are not to many specifics in this post but its a complicated application. Just checking initially to see if anybody else has had a similar problem.
Many thanks

Thanks for your reply.
I had set Metaboli Player as a trusted app. I had even set the specific IP addresses of the servers that Metaboli Player uses to trusted. I also created global rules on the appropriate ports, but all to no avail.
I forwarded the appropriate ports on my router in case that was the issue and set it to log the traffic. The traffic for Metaboli Player was coming in but nothing was coming out. However Outpost logs did not show that any specific traffic was being blocked.
I am using Comodo at the moment, but intend to retry with Outpost. But I personally cant think of anything else to do. Was pretty much wondering if there was a known incompatibility, before I spent another few hours trying to sort it.
Once again, thanks for your reply.

Outpost may still block it even though it is disabled.
Could you have a look at your firewall rules and set "metaboli player" to "trusted application" , see if that works.
I could use some help again...
