My mom said that my sister is to young to date and know she is realy mad and I dont really know why. isnt dating just the same as going to plces with friends but its 2 people? I am only 9 and I never liked anyone yet. How does it feel?
Yes I think 14 is too young to date and Iâ ™m 14. Look your parents are right she shouldnâ ™t it causes stress in your life. Like defygrvty88 said with dating comes sex it really is not a good idea. She could get in quite a spot.

But I wouldn't go on a one on one date.
I would be uncomfortable with my child going on a one-on-one date at 14. I would prefer they doubled or group dated until I got to know their boyfriend/girlfriend better. If I knew them, and trusted both my child and their boyfriend/girlfriend, then I would be okay with it.
i started dating when i 12 so it really depends on the parents beliefs.
I was 14 when I started dating and I dated that guy for a year and a half. He was my first love and I got my heart seriously broken when it ended. Your parents are probably just concerned because often, along with dating comes sex. Your parents love you and your sister and they want to protect you from getting hurt. That's why they're angry/upset.
