Is there a website where I can find the following information:
California laws concerning exposure of property interests to judgment
creditors. I need to provide statutory citations. I have already
checked http://www.courts.state.ca.us/ without success. {price $3.00)
Thank you very much.
Also note that exemptions from judgment (including homestead
exemptions) are codified in Sections 703.010 to 704.995. Links are
available on the page previously mentioned:
http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/calawquery?codesection=ccp&codebody=&hits=20
Hello.
The relevant law is contained in California Code of Civil Procedure
Sections 695.010 to 717.010. Links to the various code sections are
available on the web page californiacivilprocedure.com:
http://www.californiacivilprocedure.com/California_Civil_Procedure_Vol_14_Ch_14_Enforcement_of_Judgment.htm
search strategy: california, code, judgment creditors
I hope this helps.
I notice that the web page mentioned above does not have links for the
execution of judgment provisions (i.e., Section 699.010 et seq.). You
can go to those sections directly using the links on this page:
CALIFORNIA CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE
http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/calawquery?codesection=ccp&codebody=&hits=20
The information was quick, timely, and useful. It was exactly what I
needed for my paper. Thank you very much.
I could use some help again...
